Aire del Mar is ideally situated in Kleinbaai (sometimes referred to as Van Dyks Bay) for the viewing of the Great White Sharks. From your room you can see Dyer Island and the Kleinbaai harbour from where the boats leave for shark cage diving and whale watching. The harbour is walking distance from the Aire del Mar bed and breakfast. Accommodation : 5 Spacious Luxury Rooms (first floor of building), all with en suite bath rooms and balconies. From your room you have a spectacular unspoilt panoramic view over the bay of Dyer Island - world famous for its shark alley! All luxury rooms are equipped with satellite TV, wall heater, kettle (with coffee and tea) and a wall safe for your valuables. Start your day with a healthy breakfast and end your day with sundowners from your own balcony or in our fully licensed bar. The area has much to offer to fill your days of stay: shark viewing, whale watching (In Season) and bird watching, 4x4 trips up the mountain, a golf course, kayaking, cave exploring and fishing from the shore or a chartered boat. Kleinbaai / Van Dyks Bay offers kilometres of coast line for pleasant walks in the "fynbos" (natural coastal vegetation). We can also assist you in planning of excursions to nearby Danger Point light house, L'Agulhas (the southern most point of Africa), birding and lots more in and around Kleinbaai / Van Dyks Bay.

Van Dyks Bay is a small coastal town. The name is often interchanged with Kleinbaai (small bay).

The closest town to Van Dyks Bay is Gansbaai. Van Dyks Bay is very well known for its whale watching, especially during the months from June to December. The White Shark Projects offers you the most popular and extreme adventure where you can go shark diving in cages and get really close and personal with the white sharks. There is a tidal pool where the whole family can swim safely. If you feel like something more relaxing, then you could take on the 18 hole golf course which has magnificent views. Walker Bay Nature Reserve is nearby where you can go on a hiking trail.

The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving.
The property must offer valid members the saving all year round. (Properties that pick and chose in which seasons to participate run the risk of being removed from the programme completely. Allowing selective participation defeats the integrity of this initiative).
The property must not inflate the price before the 15% is applied. Prices displayed should be the rack rate. (The official or advertised price of a room).
