Ocean View offers self catering accommodation in Bothastrand, Glentana, in the Groot Brak River area of the Garden Route. Ocean View is an exquisite double-storey self-catering holiday home close to Glentana, just outside of George. Accommodation consists of two units: C-Breeze (sleeps 4) and Driftwood (sleeps 4), which can be rented individually or together as a whole house (sleeps 8), depending on the size of your group and particular needs. Escape to this pristine picturesque hamlet near Glentana where the only sounds you will hear are the call of the seagulls and the roar of the ocean. Situated in an access controlled nature reserve between Mosselbay and George, Ocean View has breathtaking views encompassing the ocean and the stunning vegetation of the Garden Route. Even in high season you are far from the madding crowds yet Glentana is just 10 minutes from George airport and 20 minutes from all the best restaurants, malls and shops of George and Mosselbay. You are also within easy range of all the attractions which the Garden Route has to offer. It is the best kept secret on the Garden Route. Glentana

The coastal resort of Glentana has lovely beaches, good for swimming and sun-bathing. It is situated approximately halfway between George and Mossel Bay. At one of the beaches you can see the wreck of a floating dock that stranded there in 1902. The dock was being towed from Cape Town to Durban when the accident occurred.

Glentana bay is situated in an ancient riverbed. It has steep cliffs on the side and therefore is sheltered from the wind. The caravan park is only about 100m away from the sea, so you can walk there quite easily and during the migration months you can watch the whales swimming by.

Fishermen can do some rock fishing. Species that fishermen are likely to catch in this area are elf, kob and leervis. Shell-collectors can search for the elusive "Pansy" sell. You can also go explore the Glentana caves that are situated in the cliffs.

Weather-wise Glentana has warm winters and cool summers, which makes it ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
