Our position ensures that the historic town of Franschhoek can be explored by foot directly from our bed and breakfast. Some historical background for Franschhoek: In 1688, French Huguenot refugees began populating the valley establishing farms and businesses bringing with them their experience in agriculture. This French influence can still be seen today as strict building guidelines have been imposed so that Franschhoek retains it's French and later Dutch influences.

The Franschhoek area is also well-known for its picturesque scenery, best viewed from a paraglider or one of The Flying Company's helicopters. For something even more unusual, various Franschhoek wine estates offer wine-tasting tours on horseback. Stellenbosch are approximately 30 minutes' drive from Franschhoek and both offer larger shopping malls and various other attractions. The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
