Kleinbos 13 offers self catering accommodation in the seaside town of Boggomsbaai (Boggoms Bay) near Mossel Bay in the Western Cape's Garden Route. This self catering house sleeps strictly 12 people. There are four double rooms with Queen sized beds. The upstairs loft has 4 single beds with a bathroom and table tennis board. The kitchen, dining and lounge area is all open plan with a large fireplace. The amazing thing about Boggomsbaai is that you get the best of both worlds. You can enjoy the peace, tranquility and nature of Boggomsbaai as well as being close enough to Mossel Bay town to enjoy the luxury of a restaurant, cinema, spa or other forms of entertainment if desired. This is really for those wanting to get away from the crowds of city life or other densely populated holiday resorts. No bright lights or traffic noise - just the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night. Kleinbos is an eco-estate nestled amongst the fynbos, which is a large variety of bush unique to the Western Cape. Enjoy long walks on the beach or between the fynbos in the estate. Bring along your binoculars for bird watching, small antelope and of course for whale and dolphin spotting. For the more active one's there is a mini-gym, squash court and tennis court that can be hired at your own costs. For the more adventurous there is bungee jumping just a 20 minute drive away. The rare and endangered Oyster Catcher bird loves the Boggomsbaai area, and walking the "Oyster Catcher Trail" is a wonderful way of tracking and learning more about them and sea life.

Boggoms Bay

Boggomsbaai is situated close to Mossel Bay, on the N2 national road, on the famous Garden Route. No one is really sure where Boggomsbaai got its name from but its most likely the "boggom" or the bark of the baboons in the area.

Boggomsbaai has tennis and golf facilities, so it should appeal to the sportier visitor. You can hike along the beach and look for the elusive "pansy" shell.

Fishing is good in the area and fishermen are likely to catch elf, kob and leervis in the autumn and winter months. Hikers can walk along the coast to Vleesbaai or Dana bay. While hiking you may spot some Cape pheasant, steenbok, or bushbuck.

Boggomsbaai has some self-catering chalets available but these fill up quickly during the holiday season from December to January, so it is advisable to book early.

The weather in the Boggomsbaai area is temperate with an average winter temperature of around 23 degrees celcius and in summer it averages 25 degrees.

The property (you) must offer the 15% saving to all verified members
Verification is done automatically at the time of an enquiry. It is at the property’s discretion whether to offer the saving for a telephonic enquiry. (As you have no means to verify the membership number, it is advisable to get them to do a formal enquiry so they can be verified).
If the property is currently running a "Special" greater than 15% then the "Special" price will apply. (No further savings needs to be offered). EXCEPT in the case where the "Special" is lower than 15%. In that case the 15% will apply.
Example: A property offering a 10% discount, must offer an additional 5% discount to valid members - so they get a total 15% saving.
