Cape Robin is an architect-designed self-catering holiday house in the exclusive Brackenridge eco estate in Plettenberg Bay, the jewel of the Garden Route.

Cape Robin is superbly positioned to take advantage of the beautiful views of Robberg Nature Reserve, the Indian ocean and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The estate is adjacent to a magnificent golf course, is just a few kilometers from Plettenberg Bay’s pristine beaches and within easy reach of the town center and numerous restaurants.

The house consists of two simar self-contained homes. The common area being the swimming pool.

Each house has a spacious open-plan lounge/dining area and fully equipped kitchen; fold-away sliding doors which open onto an east-facing balcony with expansive views over the estate and the ocean, stretching as far as the Robberg Peninsula. The space is modern, light, bright, open and spacious.

Cape Robin is set in a select spot in the Brackenridge eco estate which hosts some of Plettenberg Bay’s most beautiful homes. The estate provides excellent 24/7 security. The layout of the estate provides residents with tranquil, safe and close to nature living, as much of the area is green belt and the natural fynbos retained.
The estate is beautifully maintained and the indigenous vegetation attracts a variety of birds and wildlife. Cape Robin has a lovely sunny position and provides spectacular sea, mountain and ocean views.

We cater for families seeking a peaceful environment in the beautiful and very safe Ecco estate of Brackenridge. Guests who will respect the estate rules and be considerate to our wonderful neighbours. We do not allow party groups, students or loud music.

The ground floor

The lower level comprises the entrance hall and two double bedrooms. The master bedroom is en-suite opening onto an east facing balcony to catch the beautiful morning sunrises. This room has its own bathroom with a bath and own toilet, and also opens to an outdoor shower enjoyed by many of our guests in warm weather. There is of course also an indoor shower in the second bathroom.

The second bedroom has twin beds which can be put together and has a sliding door to the east facing balcony. Just outside the bedroom is a bathroom with a nice walk-in shower and toilet. The floor also has a washing machine.

The upper floor

The upstairs floor contains the kitchen, living room, TV, and dining area. The floor opens up to an east facing veranda which catches the morning sun and offers spectacular views of the sea, mountains and Robberg nature reserve. The floor also opens to a west facing veranda catching the late morning and afternoon and last of the sun. This veranda offers a lovely view of Robberg nature reserve has a table and chairs to seat four, two sun loungers a Weber BBQ and a louvre roof which can be opened and closed to suit the weather.

The kitchen is well equipped including fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven gas hob, toaster, filter coffee machine, utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses. The top floor has another door leading to the shared pool area.

The floors of the house, which we are often asked about, are concrete with embedded round river stones which have been polished with diamond coated sanders to create a very attractive, smooth and durable floor.
